Both the senior men’s and women’s Octagonals in Palmerston North were able to play at all on Saturday. There are hopes that play may still be possible on Sunday. The men are currently second-equal with Wellington on 16 points. Manawatu leads with 22. The women are are in fourth position with 13 points. Manawatu leads with 17 points.
Both the under-eight men’s and women’s Hexagonal events in Whanganui has been cancelled for the weekend.
